It's not too late to join me in Giverny... Would you like to learn some basic fundamentals of drawing and painting? Or brush up on drawing techniques to improve your paintings? Would you like to learn in the very village and gardens where Claude Monet created many masterpieces? A personal art retreat in Giverny.
Sorry I don't blog very often, but I do update my facebook page regularly at Un Coeur Pour Giverny.

If you can't be in Giverny you should be somewhere beautiful! Nathrop, Colorado US has given me such joy today... over 50cm of snow. Truly stunning and just in time to paint a new book!

A sneaky peek ☺ I am about to sign my celebrity showstopper for my exposition in Paris Le Salon Indien in January! It is a creation more beautiful than anything I have ever done before. .. my socks have been blown off!!! I am painting my best right now and am so excited about what I can present in the upcoming show. It's going to be full of flowers and gardens from Giverny, Ma Campagne et Auvers Sur Oise. A journey of a flower from the field, to the garden and then into the interiors. It is also following my footsteps as I journey to places where Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Pierre Bonnard lived and worked. Tanya Frazier

Giverny owns a large part of my heart, but whilst I have been away in North Yorkshire England, I think this area has won a little piece of my heart. I have warmed to their humble landscapes, buildings and people. The Redmire moors here extreme in their beauty, so interesting in the wildlife glimpses of wild pheasant and grouse yesterday fill me with delight. The colours are exquisite in the heathers and grasses that a camera cannot do justice! It will be with a heavy heart that I leave next Sunday for my beloved Giverny. But I choose to savour this week and continue creating another book with a North Yorkshire theme.

Last night's "Un Coeur pour Giverny" farewell dinner with Danielle from Le Clos Fleuri Giverny, was so wonderful. We translated a recipe, shopped in French and cooked Lapin au cidre, pommes de terre dauphinois, haricot verts and finished some local patisserie goodies. This is the second group and some of the activities we shared along the way!

The first week of my Un Coeur Pour Giverny excursions is nearly over, just today and tomorrow remain! But I have been very blessed with such a beautiful group of people. They have been learning the art of living in a French village that just happens to be Monet's village Giverny! Teaching them a bit of language, painting, photography, shopping, cooking and drawing. Visiting Vernon, Fourges and today Auvers sur Oise.
